Refund and Return Policy

At House Hero, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We aim to deliver smooth and transparent service for every booking and purchase. This policy explains how cancellations, returns, and refunds are handled for both service-based and product-based orders on our platform.
🧱 1. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to all orders made through www.househero.in, including:
Consultancy & design services (e.g., house design, vastu, planning)
On-site services (e.g., supervision, renovation, repairs)
Physical product orders (e.g., materials, fixtures, or hardware)
By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms.
📐 2. Consultancy, Design & Advisory Services
All consultancy, design, planning, or vastu services are non-refundable once the work has started.
If a customer cancels before the work begins, a 15% cancellation fee of the total order value will be deducted. The balance will be refunded within 7–10 business days.
Any design files, drawings, or digital deliverables once shared are considered final and non-returnable.
Minor modifications or revisions may be offered at the discretion of the company.
🧰 3. On-Site and Project-Based Services
Orders for renovation, construction, or supervision services can be cancelled only before scheduling or resource allocation.
Once execution has started, no refund will be possible.
Rescheduling requests will be accepted subject to availability of service slots and professionals.
If House Hero is unable to provide the booked service due to unavailability or unforeseen reasons, a full refund will be issued.
📦 4. Return Policy for Physical Products
The returns would happen within 3 to 4 days and also the damaged and defective items would be processed within 4 to 5 days and the replaced products would be delivered to the customer within 3 days.
If you are receiving any damaged or defective products please contact us within 24 hrs so we will Re-deliver either exchange or replace products within 5-6 working days
Return requests must be initiated within 24 hours of product delivery.
Returns are accepted only if:
The item received is damaged, defective, or incorrect, and
Valid photographic or video proof is provided.
All returns are subject to verification and approval by our team.
Products must be unused, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging.
Transportation, handling, and payment gateway charges are non-refundable and borne by the customer.
Once approved, refunds will be processed within 10–15 working days after product inspection.
🚫 5. Order Cancellation by Customer
Orders can be cancelled before dispatch or service initiation.
A 15% cancellation charge applies to both service and product orders.
Once an order has been confirmed and work/material dispatch has started, no cancellation will be accepted.
⚙️ 6. Order Cancellation by Company
House Hero reserves the right to cancel any order or service due to:
Non-availability of materials or manpower
Technical issues or incorrect pricing
Violation of platform terms or fraudulent activity
In such cases, the customer will receive a full refund without any deductions.
💳 7. Refund Processing
The refunded amount would be credited to the customer’s bank account within 3 to 4 days .
Refunds will be made only to the original payment source used at the time of purchase.
Refunds via cash or cheque are not permitted.
Processing time for approved refunds is typically 7–15 business days, depending on the bank or payment gateway.
🧾 8. Non-Refundable Conditions
No refunds will be issued if:
The service is completed or product is used.
The customer provides incorrect specifications, data, or measurements.
Cancellation is requested after the work/material dispatch has started.
